- Key responsibilities include contractor safety through IIF leadership, contracting, construction planning, quality control, and managing multidisciplinary fabrication and construction activities in the fabrication yard and in the field.
- Supervising communities and indigenous contractors, managing performance and schedules, including performance against safety programs.
- Coordinating SIMOPS activities, materials issues, progress reporting, and coordination of QC/QA/Inspection.
- Supporting operations and commissioning start-up teams.
- Responsible for day-to-day scheduling and oversight of construction inspectors, QA/QC documentation ensuring adequate coverage of work; ensuring the right person for the right assignments
- Day-to-day supervision of contractors to assure work is being performed in a safe and efficient manner and as per the technical requirements.
- Mentoring community contractors and training them to Chevron Acceptable levels.
- Perform as part of a small integrated team in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines for work orders assigned to the appropriate group responsible for shop fabrication and vessel cleaning activities.
- Ensure all work orders request are handled and executed in compliance with Company Health, Environment and Safety (HES) requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
