- Implement dive plans in liaison with client, barge/vessel teams and marine superintendents.
- Monitor safety of dive teams and ensure that the diving operation is carried out from a suitable and safe place as per diving operation manual.
- Supervise diving operations, ensuring compliance with the company’s dive management systems and Legal & HSE standards
- Check all diving equipment for valid, up-to-date certification to ensure their suitability for intended projects.
- Ensure divers’ competence and fitness on a regular basis.
- Update logs, keep records and prepare accurate reports in compliance with required standards.
- Ensure that all possible foreseeable risks have been evaluated and are fully understood by all relevant parties and implement hazards action.
- Responsible for the continuous training of dive teams
