PVT Data Analysis Supervisor


Responsibilities
 Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the PVT laboratory, including sample preparation,
equipment maintenance, and data quality control. 
 Managing and mentoring a team of PVT engineers, providing training, feedback, and performance
evaluations. 
 Analyzing PVT data (analytical data from laboratory and gas chromatography), ensuring its
accuracy and reliability, and interpret results to support reservoir engineering decisions. 
 Maintaining and calibrating PVT equipment to ensure accurate data collection. 
 Possessing an ability to carry out PVT test and experimental analysis. 
 Preparing and maintaining accurate records of PVT analyses and reports for internal and external
stakeholders. 
 Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of
PVT data. 
 Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and protocols in the laboratory environment. 
 Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the
PVT laboratory. 
 Participating in the development and monitoring of the PVT laboratory budget. 
 Developing and delivering training programs for PVT technicians and other personnel. 
 Investigating and resolving technical issues that may arise in the PVT laboratory.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (minimum of second class upper division) or
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (minimum of second class upper division) with master’s
Petroleum Engineering. 
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in PVT analysis and Data QA/QC.

 Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power point, PVT software, PVT equipment, and
industry standards.

 Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, geologists, specialists, and clients.
 Ability to be proactive and giving attention to details.
 Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. 
 Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a strong work
ethic. 
 Strong interest in continuous self and professional development
