Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems in line with company standards, statutory requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain zero incident tolerance by ensuring staff compliance with all HSE procedures and policies
Ensure pre-mobilization and demobilization checks during project execution
Carry out routine scheduled HSE activities (meetings, Audits, drills, etc.)
Carry out facility maintenance and safety inspections.
Enforce compliance with weekly vehicle inspections to ensure they are safe for operation
Ensure proper documentation of Laser HSE statistics
Carry out HSE training in the Laser Petroleum Geoscience Centre (LPGC) and conduct HSE
inductions.
Prepare JHA and conduct Risk Assessment as required
Respond to HSSE tender requirements and prepare contract HSE plan, etc.
Receive and anchor all clients’ HSE inspections and audits
Coordinate staff health insurance issues
Ensure annual HSE requirements are met
Promote HSSE awareness and ensure compliance with the Laser HSE plan, policies, and procedures
Carry out incident investigation and reporting, etc
Ensure proper HSE documentation for Laser Engineering in line with global best practices
Monitor all staff at the field to ensure HSE compliance at field operations
Required qualification:
B. Eng. in any engineering course or a scientist in any science course
HSE level 3 & NEBOSH IGC
Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in an HSE supervision role in oil & gas
Advanced Knowledge of Computer applications, e.g, Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

Effective use of initiative
Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging targets with minimal or no supervision
Membership of ISPON or other Safety professional bodies is an added advantage.
