CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
Key responsibilities include contractor safety through IIF leadership, contracting, construction planning, quality control, and managing multidisciplinary fabrication and construction activities in the fabrication yard and in the field. Supervising communities and indigenous contractors, managing performance and schedules, including performance against safety programs. Coordinating SIMOPS activities, materials issues, progress reporting, and coordination of QC/QA/Inspection. Supporting operations and commissioning start-up teams. Responsible for day-to-day scheduling and oversight of construction inspectors, QA/QC documentation ensuring adequate coverage of work; ensuring the right person for the right assignments Day-to-day supervision of contractors to assure work is being performed in a safe and efficient manner and as per the technical requirements. Mentoring community contractors and training them to Chevron Acceptable levels. Perform as part of a small integrated team in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines for work orders assigned to the appropriate group responsible for shop fabrication and vessel cleaning activities. Ensure all work orders request are handled and executed in compliance with Company Health, Environment and Safety (HES) requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
