Responsibilities
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the PVT laboratory, including sample preparation,
equipment maintenance, and data quality control.
Managing and mentoring a team of PVT engineers, providing training, feedback, and performance
evaluations.
Analyzing PVT data (analytical data from laboratory and gas chromatography), ensuring its
accuracy and reliability, and interpret results to support reservoir engineering decisions.
Maintaining and calibrating PVT equipment to ensure accurate data collection.
Possessing an ability to carry out PVT test and experimental analysis.
Preparing and maintaining accurate records of PVT analyses and reports for internal and external
stakeholders.
Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of
PVT data.
Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and protocols in the laboratory environment.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the
PVT laboratory.
Participating in the development and monitoring of the PVT laboratory budget.
Developing and delivering training programs for PVT technicians and other personnel.
Investigating and resolving technical issues that may arise in the PVT laboratory.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (minimum of second class upper division) or
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (minimum of second class upper division) with master’s
Petroleum Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in PVT analysis and Data QA/QC.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power point, PVT software, PVT equipment, and
industry standards.

Ability to be proactive and giving attention to details.
