Job Responsibilities.
- testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems
- calibration of tools and automated machines
- designing and developing new control systems
- analyzing data and presenting findings in written reports
- managing operations
- working collaboratively with operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff
- Proficient in Uncertainty calculations
- liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities (e.g. equipment manufacturers)
- understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards
- providing advice and consultancy support
- Analyze and ensure to standardize equipment on return.
- Determine ESIL needs for services and equipments.
- Supervise current equipment service contracts.
- Coordinate repairs plus supervise defective equipment returns.
- Develop and maintain relations with suppliers to prepare control plus data acquisition systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering or allied degree such as in computer engineering, applied physics, mechanical engineering, systems engineering or Applied Chemistry.
- masters will be an added advantage
- must have strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- must have strong leadership skills and the ability to train and motivate team members
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Package
- minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role
- In depth knowledge of QHSE Systems, preventative measures and laboratory best practices
