Job Summary:
Qualification: B.Sc. 2nd class degree honors (minimum) in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry, or
equivalents with ability to lead team members.
EXPERIENCE;
The ideal candidate should be able to;
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as GC, GC-MS, ICP, AAS and
Spectrophotometer and carry out routine laboratory analysis.
Have participated in several environmental studies onshore & offshore
Be able to write environmental and compliance monitoring report
Appreciates laboratory quality assurance and quality control
Practical toxicity testing and report writing
Have good knowledge of technical tendering/bid preparation
SKILLS
The ideal candidate will need to show:
creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
excellent critical thinking skills and a high level of numeracy
a willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions
a high level of attention to detail
a willingness to work extended time
excellent customer care skills and good commercial awareness
an understanding of, and ability to work with, high-level computer technology.
