Job Summary:
We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Officer to join our team. The successful
candidate will be responsible for providing client support on sustainability issues, focusing on climate
action, greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory management, resource efficiency, and social safeguards. This
role will play a critical part in helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals and ensuring they meet
their environmental and social responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support: Provide advisory services to clients on sustainability issues, including climate action,
GHG inventory management, resource efficiency, and social safeguards.
Climate Action: Support clients in developing and implementing climate action plans, including GHG
inventory management and reduction strategies.
GHG Inventory: Assist clients in conducting regular GHG emissions assessments and developing
strategies to reduce emissions.
Resource Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve resource efficiency and implement sustainable
practices for clients.
Social Safeguards: Ensure clients comply with social safeguard policies, including human rights, labor
standards, and community engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clients, stakeholders, and NGOs to promote sustainability
initiatives and best practices.
Capacity Building: Provide training and capacity-building programs for clients to enhance their
understanding of sustainability issues and practices.
Reporting and Compliance: Support clients in ensuring compliance with sustainability reporting
requirements, including preparation of sustainability reports and submission of data to external reporting
platforms.
