PVT ENGINEER

GENERAL WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Surface sampling of reservoir fluids to ensure that representative samples are taken. Phase behavior studies of reservoir fluids in the bottom hole and separator. Operation, maintenance, and calibration of PVT equipment. Crude assay analysis. Flow assurance studies. Water and hydrocarbon dew point measurements of natural gas. Detection and measurement of the quantity of contaminants in a hydrocarbon gas sample using a Drager instrument and tube. Ensure the accuracy, validity, and completeness of the experimental results. Reporting of PVT and flow assurance analysis measurements. Preparation of validation and complete PVT report on reservoir fluid samples. PVT simulation of fluid properties using PVTi ,PVT PRO,PVT RECORD and PVT and PVT sim. Analysis and interpretation of PVT data.   EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION First degree in petroleum engineering (1st class honour) or chemical engineering (2nd class upper) with master’s in petroleum or chemical engineering. PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Monitor and control the flow of hydrocarbons from the reservoir to the point of export, and carry out process sampling. Monitor and record plant conditions, bringing deviations or malfunctions to the attention of the production supervisor. Prepare process plant and equipment for maintenance by applying specified isolations, venting, etc. Prior to start-up of any plant or equipment, inspect and confirm suitability to return to normal service. Maintain own work area in a safe, clean and tidy condition. Prepare production reports. Perform first line maintenance, identifying and reporting faults. Carry out mechanical isolations, gas tests, and work-site inspections. Carry out emergency duties as required by the OIM / site manager.

DIVING SUPERVISOR

Implement dive plans in liaison with client, barge/vessel teams and marine superintendents. Monitor safety of dive teams and ensure that the diving operation is carried out from a suitable and safe place as per diving operation manual. Supervise diving operations, ensuring compliance with the company’s dive management systems and Legal & HSE standards Check all diving equipment for valid, up-to-date certification to ensure their suitability for intended projects. Ensure divers’ competence and fitness on a regular basis. Update logs, keep records and prepare accurate reports in compliance with required standards. Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, according to the weight and size of the load to be moved. Check and inspect slings, mooring ropes, lifting devices, equipment, and materials associated with rigging for serviceability, safety, and functionality. Attach hoisting and pulling gear for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy machines, items of equipment, large structural parts, and other heavy objects. Be aware of weather conditions and recognize hazards prior to any rigging or lift operation Give hand signals to the equipment operator while engaged in hoisting and moving objects in a manner that ensures the safety of workers, equipment, and materials. Carefully establish safe walking paths at all times and watch the placement of feet when walking at all times to avoid slips, trips, and falls.

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting facilities, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
