Job Position: Reservoir Engineer

Job Title: Reservoir Engineer Job Summary: We seek an enthusiastic, highly skilled, motivated Reservoir Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing and managing reservoir performance and enhancing the recovery of hydrocarbons from oil and gas reservoirs. This role requires a deep understanding of reservoir behavior and the application of advanced engineering techniques. Key Responsibilities: Analyze production data, pressure data, and reservoir fluid properties to identify trends and potential issues. Utilize reservoir modeling software to simulate reservoir behavior and provide forecasts. Evaluate reservoir characteristics through data analysis and simulation models. Prepare and maintain reservoir management plans to maximize recovery and optimize production. Assist in designing and implementing field development plans, including well placement, completion techniques, and enhanced oil recovery methods. Collaborate with geologists, production engineers, and other technical teams to ensure integration of reservoir engineering with field operations. Monitor reservoir performance, including production rates and pressures, and recommend adjustments as necessary. Develop and implement production optimization strategies based on reservoir performance data. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for management and stakeholders. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in reservoir engineering technologies. Participate in research and pilot studies to evaluate new recovery techniques and technologies. Qualifications: The preferred candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences, or related field. Master’s degree in Reservoir Engineering is an added advantage. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in reservoir engineering functions. Technical Skills: 1). Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, fluid flow dynamics and reservoir behaviour. 2). Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation 3). PVT ENGINEER

GENERAL WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Surface sampling of reservoir fluids to ensure that representative samples are taken. Phase behavior studies of reservoir fluids in the bottom hole and separator. Operation, maintenance, and calibration of PVT equipment. Crude assay analysis. Flow assurance studies. Water and hydrocarbon dew point measurements of natural gas. Detection and measurement of the quantity of contaminants in a hydrocarbon gas sample using a Drager instrument and tube. Ensure the accuracy, validity, and completeness of the experimental results. Reporting of PVT and flow assurance analysis measurements. Preparation of validation and complete PVT report on reservoir fluid samples. PVT simulation of fluid properties using PVTi ,PVT PRO,PVT RECORD and PVT and PVT sim. Analysis and interpretation of PVT data.   EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION First degree in petroleum engineering (1st class honour) or chemical engineering (2nd class upper) with master’s in petroleum or chemical engineering. PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Monitor and control the flow of hydrocarbons from the reservoir to the point of export, and carry out process sampling. Monitor and record plant conditions, bringing deviations or malfunctions to the attention of the production supervisor. Prepare process plant and equipment for maintenance by applying specified isolations, venting, etc. Prior to start-up of any plant or equipment, inspect and confirm suitability to return to normal service. Maintain own work area in a safe, clean and tidy condition. Prepare production reports. Perform first line maintenance, identifying and reporting faults. Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, according to the weight and size of the load to be moved. Check and inspect slings, mooring ropes, lifting devices, equipment, and materials associated with rigging for serviceability, safety, and functionality. Attach hoisting and pulling gear for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy machines, items of equipment, large structural parts, and other heavy objects. Be aware of weather conditions and recognize hazards prior to any rigging or lift operation Give hand signals to the equipment operator while engaged in hoisting and moving objects in a manner that ensures the safety of workers, equipment, and materials. Carefully establish safe walking paths at all times and watch the placement of feet when walking at all times to avoid slips, trips, and falls.
